We’re throwing a party! The End Of Summer Jam returns to Clyde’s Prime Rib over Labor Day weekend with two stages featuring some of our city’s finest.

We’ll open things up with Domo Branch & Noah Simpson performing original jazz compositions outdoors on the patio and will close things down with Arietta Ward & Friends bringing the funk in the venue’s lounge. DJ Jumbo will be on the wheels of steel alongside our master of ceremonies, Calvin Walker. What’s more? Our Wall To Wall Soul exhibit will be on display throughout the venue, featuring a curated selection of historic photography, poster art, and newsprint that honors Albina’s musical legacy. Not to be missed!

For the history buffs out there, the End Of Summer Jam is a tradition dating back to the late 1970s when community members in Albina developed this annual event in Peninsula Park. Nearly half a century later, we continue to preserve the event’s legacy featuring an intergenerational cast of Albina's Black musician community. Clyde’s Prime Rib has been a longtime partner in our work and is among the last venues in our city where folks can experience live music featuring Albina’s historic musician community each and every weekend.
